5% PERACETIC ACID DISINFECTANT

FOR WATER SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT

 

-       Broad spectrum disinfectant with rapid kill
-       Non-foaming and Non-tainting

-       DEFRA approved for Diseases of Poultry and General Orders

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Dilute product into water at the following rates:
General Disinfection: 1:200 through a pressure washer (e.g. 500 ml in 100 litres water).
Water sanitisation: birds out:  1:100. Birds in : 1:1000
Flush through system, leave for 3-6 hrs, then rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove product.
AERIAL FOGGING = 1:10 – apply as a fog at 15ml per cubic metre.

 DEFRA Approvals

Diseases of poultry: 1 part HPPA to 400 parts water
Swine vesicular disease: 1 part HPPA to 30 parts water
General orders (Salmonellosis): 1 part HPPA to 190 parts water
Caustic residues from pre-cleaning should be removed to avoid loss of efficacy. Avoid contact with mild steel or galvanized equipment or utensils and soft metals such as brass and copper. Aluminium alloys are not attacked by dilute working solutions.  Peracetic acid may affect  certain types of rubber when used over a long period of time.

Efficacy:
HPPA has been independently tested using EN test methods against the causative agents of:
Aujeskys;  Chicken anaemia; Parvoviral Enteritis; Egg Drop Syndrome; Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis; Enteritis; PRRS; TeschenTalfan disease; Bovine Pneumonia; Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis.

HPPA has proven effective in independently tests using EN test methods against:
Bacillus; Clostridium; Enterococcus; E.coli; Haemophilus; Helicobacter; Listeria; Proteus; Pseudomonas; Salmonella; Staphylococcus; Vibrio; Aspergillus; Candida.

Storage:  Store in a cool, dark, well ventilated place away from alkalis. Keep lid firmly attached.
Pack size:  25 & 200 kg.
Shelf life: 1 year from date of manufacture
